Face-to-face advice allows you to meet with your counselor in his Office. It allows you to get the personal interaction and the ability to discuss your thoughts, issues, or questions directly to another person. Some people prefer this method because it offers personal interaction with the counselor. For some people, it is useful to be able to see the person they're talking about. You can still expect the confidential session, and you can get the advantage of knowing your counselor in person.
If going to the Office of Councillor you put a little bit on the edge, then you may have the option to complete the on-line advice. Some advisers may offer some sessions via chat, but others might prefer a more Visual, such as using a video service yet to complete the face-to-face session. You still get the advantage of meeting with your counselor face-to-face, but you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
Telephone counseling has some of the same advantages as the on-line advice. You can complete the session from the comfort of your own home, if you so desire. If you happen to have a cell phone, you may be able to make your session wherever you choose-even somewhere outside. Telephone counseling offers some freedom, but also a level of anonymity as your counselor should not see your face and you don't have to go to your counselor's Office if you do not want.
There are indeed certain types of consulting options that you might have if you are looking for help. Some counselors offer free sessions for you to get an idea of whether or not it's right for you that Advisor. Might even be able to try a consultancy method to see if you prefer. Some of these methods include face-to-face counseling, online counseling and phone counseling. A method does not work necessarily for each person; so don't be afraid to choose what will help you better at the end.
